Sending a sample to the laboratory
Complete this form, print it, and send it inside the parcel. A sample that arrives without a completed submission form waits at the counter until we can reach you, which costs you a day.

Send enough sample
Quantities below are minimums for the full panel. Too little sample forces us to drop parameters or skip the confirmatory repeat.
Keep it representative
Draw from multiple points across the lot and composite. One scoop off the top of one bag tells you about that scoop and nothing else.
Respect the cold chain
Chilled products at 2–8°C with gel packs, frozen products frozen. Arrival temperature is recorded and printed on your report.
Label unambiguously
Product name, batch or lot number, date of manufacture and your own reference on every container, written on the container, not only on the box.
Put the form inside
Print the completed form and seal it in a pouch inside the parcel. It is the document we log against, and it is what makes your sample traceable from minute one.

Where a single parameter needs an unusually large sample, mineral oil hydrocarbons and some residue work, for example, your quotation will state it explicitly.
